June 8, 2017 -- Namseling Manor was the domain of a feudal lord located in Chanang County, Lhoka Prefecture, Tibet. The lord’s family had some famous members in Tibet, including two Rinpoches of Dojechag Monastery, the great scholar Panchen Lobsang Yexei (1663-1737), and officials as high as gelun in old Tibetan government. June 8, 2017 -- Namseling Manor is a microcosm of the feudal serfdom society in Tibet. Its architecture embodies Tibetan people’s wisdom in the artistic construction of manor homes, and it has become an important part of the landscape in the Yarlung scenic area. The photo shows one side of the main building.
