Aug. 28, 2017 -- Mongolian journalists visit Xiala educational zone.

Aug. 28, 2017 -- A delegation of 11 Mongolian journalists visited Xiala educational zone Thursday in Yajiang county, Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Garze, southwest China's Sichuan province.

As the first of its kind in Garze, the Xiala educational zone has provided students from herding families in Yajiang county access to free quality educational resources since its foundation in September 2015.

A variety of classrooms for multimedia, calligraphy and music education, as well as the clean canteen, students’ dormitories and bathrooms, and in particular a Tibetan-Chinese-English teaching mode impressed the journalists.

“I am impressed by what I have seen. I think people in my country need to know what a good education system Sichuan has,” said one of the journalists.
