Nov. 30, 2016 -- During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, Tibet will increase the input intensity on intangible culture protection, which will achieve over 80% compared with that during the 12th Five-Year Plan period. By the end of 2020, it aims at increasing the number of national key cultural relic units to 80, municipal-level cultural relic units to 500 and prefecture or county level cultural relic units to 1,200.

During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, Tibet will focus on strengthening the protection of national-level and municipal-level cultural relic units, the construction of museum, the preservation of revolution cultural relics and ethnic minorities’ cultural relics as well as the declaration of ancient city Lhasa as the world cultural heritage.
