31 more parks and tour gardens will be built up in Lhasa in the following two years to beautify the homestead. Entering 2009, Lhasa is active in carrying out afforestation and urban greening projects to provide comfortable living environment for local people.

Currently, Lhalu Wetland landscape greening project has started construction and East suburb nursery garden has been put into use. And Lhasa plans to build up 23 parks and gardens with 16 parks to start constructions in September 2009.

Besides, with afforestation project carrying on, a total area of 1.577 million mu greenbelt along roads and rivers has been completed.
