Phase-I project of Yangpachen Cultural Tourism Industrial Park to be completed in June next year

May 27,2017--According to the poverty alleviation department of Damxung County, to further develop geothermal industry, speed up the progress of "getting rid of poverty by employment", and help poverty alleviation program transfer from "blood transfusion" to "hematopoiesis", at present, the cultural tourism industrial park project of "Tibet Yangpachen Geothermy International Camp" is under construction. In June, 2018, the phase-I project is expected to be completed and put into use, helping 400 people get employed.

This project covers a floor area of 800 mu and a building area of 400000 square meters. With a total budgetary investment of 550 million yuan, it will be carried out in two phase. After construction, it will become a large-scale cultural tourism complex that integrates with sightseeing, leisure, entertainment, and vacation. At present, 40% of the phase-I project has been completed.

To practice social responsibility and solve the employment issue of surplus work force in Yangpachen Town, this project has helped a lot of farmers and herdsmen get employed since it has started construction in 2015.

The project recruitment work will be launched in October this year and it will be inclined to poverty-stricken families.
