Over 40,000 citizens enjoy the basic health insurance in Lhasa, sources from Lhasa Health Insurance Center.

Photo shows the staff from Lhasa Health Insurance Center is introducing knowledge about medical insurance.

According to data, 20,686 urban families with 41,715 people will participate in medical insurance, with an increase of 4,624 people comparing with 2009.

Meanwhile, the treatment costs of 20 kinds of special diseases including fertility, high blood pressure and diabetes will be included in the health insurance area to benefit the insured people.
